Hello! Welcome to the Genius game! Going forward, you will play a total of 11 rounds of games. One person will be eliminated each round. The person who survives until the end will be the champion. You were each given a gem inside your invitations. That gem, which is called a garnet, is the currency used in this game. Garnets maybe provided before a game or gained within a game. Your garnets may also be in negotiations with other players. Having a lot of garnets could allow you to give an edge in the games.

Then, I will explain the overall game rules. Each round consists of a main match and a death match. The main match decides who will play in the death match. The death match is a 1-on-1 game to decide who will be eliminated. Every player will participate in the main match to determine a winner and elimination candidate. The winner of the main match will receive a token of life which grants immunity from the death match. If there is a sole winner, they will obtain two tokens of life and they must grant immunity to another player other than the elimination candidate. The elimination candidate will then pick another player to play in the death match with them. The death match is a 1-on-1 game to decide who is eliminated. The loser of the death match will be eliminated. The eliminated player's garnets will be taken by the death match's winner. If you have any questions during the games, feel free to post and ask.

These are the 12 players playing in the game.
1) Cherry 2) Tomcat 3) Adam 4) Sam 5) Nyx 6) Pete 7) Misty 8) Brian 9) Lukas 10) Tara 11) David 12) Rachael
The first challenge will be posted on Tue, 8 PM EST.
Take note, PMs are disabled in this forum. All forms of communication need to be in rooms, where you can ask me in your Confessionals page. I sincerely hope that all of you will be somewhat active after the disappointing start that I had the last time.
Thanks again to all and take the time to chat if you want to!

Mas- do you want a 13th player? Or are you content with 12? I could try to find someone if you want another.

I'm open to working with anyone so ask mas for a room with me. This doesn't quite work like a Survivor game where you make a final 2 and just stick with them all game. You pretty much have to work with everyone at some point.

We will now begin the the 1st Main Match. The 1st Main Match is "The Election Game". In the Election Game, you will run as a candidate and the candidate with the most votes win will the game. Candidate registration is open until Wed, 10 AM EST. Candidates will use their campaign funds to campaign for 36 hours after the candidate registration is closed. In order to determine the approval ratings of each candidate, opinion poll results will be released at 2 timings before the final results at the end of the 36 hour campaign. Following two opinion polls, the final vote will be done at the end of the campaign. The candidate with the most votes from the non-candidate players will be the winner. The candidates with the least votes will be up for elimination. Therefore, the winner and loser of the Election Game can only be one of the players who signed up as a candidate. The remaining players are simply voters and cannot be the winner or the loser of the challenge. However, they may still be picked for the Death Match. Candidates may resign at anytime during the campaign and return to being a voter. That means that you may resign at any time if you think your chances are slim. When running as a candidate, you will each receive a campaign donation of 20 chips. Following the election, each chip will be exchanged for 1 garnet. However, only the winning candidate's campaign chips can be exchanged for garnets. To clarify, a losing or resigned candidate's chips are considered useless. Therefore, each player must attempt to get as many of the winning candidate's chips as possible. As usual, feel free to ask any questions if you are unsure about something.

I think we'll be doing them in our confessionals, since they're private voting?

some additions:
you need to post on here if you are going to run as a candidate.
i will post the timings for when you need to submit who you are voting for. you are allowed to change votes for the different opinion polls and final voting.
i will release the results of the opinion polls and post it here. it will be anonymous so no one knows who is voting for who. voting to be done on your confessionals page.

Yeah , I think once registration is closed for candidates , polls will be conducted every 12 hours , voters place their votes in their confessionals and Mas collects them , then announces them.
Mas , is there a penalty for players who don't vote ? Will the winning candidate get to keep any chips left over and get them transferred to garnets ? What's the deadline for candidates resigning from the election ?
