I've just realised, you skipping makes perfect sense, since Zombie will most likely move 2 spaces this time. Which means that he will ne piggy-backing on vampire. So if we can make sure that vampire moves before zombie next round (i.e if vampire moves 3 and zombie moves 2) vampire will "carry" zombie to the puddle, after which zombie will get to move 2 , and move on to space 8. At least, that's how I'm interpreting the rules, perhaps Mas could confirm?

It appears they're really trying to move Gumiho and Mummy. We'll see what Nyx does after this round and next. I'm wary of Gumiho moving 3 spaces, but it's unlikely I'd have been able to stop that, anyway, since Adam and Nyx have the last 2 advantage. Also, it's not entirely bad... I'm guessing Nyx has Gumiho, Adam has Mummy, and they're kind of splitting that - making sure to move 1 each. Which means if we can make sure Gumiho stays ahead of Mummy (and if what Adam said is true), you wouldn't finish last in the players/wouldn't go to the Death Match. So if we can keep Vampire in the lead (since we know they don't have it), with Zombie 2nd or 3rd, Gumiho filling in whichever spot Zombie doesn't, and keeping Mummy/Jiangshi from really gaining any traction, the plan should work - Nat and I win, Pete comes in 2nd or 3rd (out of those competing in the full game), and Than's placement doesn't matter. Zombie can be in the lead, but we'd need Vampire in 2nd place to be sure.
Does that sound about right, or am I missing something?

Also, I'm wondering that, too. I read that as the player would simply piggy-back, but not necessarily move on top of that.
Mas, question: does a player move extra, beyond the piggy-back? So, Zombie and Vampire are on the same space, then let's say Vampire moves 3 and Zombie moves 2, would Zombie piggy-back Vampire to the puddle, then move its 2 spaces (to space 8) after that?

Since zombie needs to move 2 spaces first then vampire can move 3, zombie will stop at the puddle then vampire move to the puddle and now zombie is piggybackimg vampire

Mas: Oh, d'oh. Thank you, but I'm dumb.
What if it's reversed... what if, for example, this round (both are on 4, and Vampire is piggy-backing Zombie) Zombie moves 2 and Vampire moves 3? Zombie would move first (2), so would Vampire piggy-back then move after? ie: would Vampire piggy-back Zombie to the puddle, and then move 3 from there (ending on 9 instead of 6)?

If vampire moves first, zombie will move together and then move by itself. But if zombie moves first, vampire won't move.

Ah. Apologies, reversed them in my post. That's what I meant (accidentally repeated what I asked in the first post). Sorry for that. And thank you. That's what I was wondering, if the one piggy-backing would move both on the other's "back" and independently.
Which means we can't have Zombie move before Vampire if we're to take advantage of the piggy-backing. Pete, since it's reversed (space 1 moves before space 2, not the opposite), if Vampire moves 2, we'd need Zombie to move 3. I guess we'll see what Nyx and Adam do to get a sense of if that's possible. If nothing else, should be easy enough to get them both to the first puddle.
It also means Gumiho can't move 1, because then - moving first - Gumiho would also piggy-back (ride on) Vampire, and presumably also Zombie's next move (?) (as Gumiho would be piggy-back riding on both). So Gumiho would have to be blocked from moving 1 space if either Zombie or Vampire move at all. I think?

I made the mistake of thinking that the character who wins 3 spaces would move first, but in fact it's the other way around. I have another question of Mas:
If vampire wins the 2 spaces and the 3 spaces this round, would he move 2 first, reach the puddle, then move 3 next, onto space 9, with zombie on his back?

Also, if I read the rules correctly, if you and Nat finish equal first, then it doesn't matter who comes next or who comes last. You will get the first token of life, Nat would get the 2nd token, but since he cannot give it to you (like it says in the rules), he then chooses which player to give it to (hopefully me lol), sending Adam and Nyx to the death match automatically.
We also need Vampire to come in first place, not Zombie. This is because we know for sure that none of them have a vampire, but one of them has Zombie. So if vampire comes first, then as long as zombie finishes at least 3rd, then we win. But should Zombie finish first, then we would have to guarantee Vampire finishing 2nd to ensure victory. Much easier to make sure that vampire wins.
You're right about gumiho though, we must make sure that it does not move 1 space this round!!!!!!!!!!!

So make sure Gumiho doesn't move? What should I do with my two Gumihos?

Gumiho can move - it's not ideal, but not the end of the world. Just make sure it doesn't move 1 space, so it's not riding a top a Zombie/Vampire pile. We have enough moves ahead of us to make sure of that, though.
And woah... so does that been they'll keep piggybacking for every move this round? Interesting.

Hopefully we can move vampire for space 2 and space 3, but we don't want to risk competing with it for space 1. However, space 2 is also dangerous because if Vampire/Zombie end up moving space 1, then Gumiho would ride piggy-back. So maybe just try to spread out Gumiho - one on space 3, one somewhere else. Javi probably won't show up, so unless Malachai gets all Gumiho, we should be safe.
Thoughts on that? Better ideas?

The way Malachai placed his characters really works well for us !!
