"Nyx will has 50 points minus off her scores and 50 points goes to Tomcat for the lowest bidding since Lukas and Misty didn't submit scores."
So why do I only have 40 points? For once, I'm confused. ha, sorry. I'm more interested in blocking Nyx than anything else this match, so haven't been too invested.

Some questions about last round and this round:
1) What were your thoughts on last round's Main Match?
2) What were your thoughts on Sam choosing Rachael?
3) Who were you supporting going into the Death Match?
4) What do you think of the Death Match?
5) What are your thoughts on this round's Main Match?
6) Were you happy with the team you had?
7) What was your strategy going into this?
8) What do you think about Nyx's outburst?
9) Are you confident in not being one of the 2 in the Death Match?

I'll answer these in a bit. Aw, Nyx.
Is it *really* fair that Lukas says he'll mine, then almost 15 minutes later changes his mind? /heh

1) What were your thoughts on last round's Main Match?
It was interesting. Not one of my favorite matches, but interesting how many variables there were in how it played out.
2) What were your thoughts on Sam choosing Rachael?
I knew Rachael would win. Or, I figured she had great odds. Everyone likes Rachael, so with a social challenge like that, she was pretty certain to win. Sam seems very sweet, but I don't have much faith in her challenge ability. Rachael was pretty good at challenges from what I remember in Switza's Survivor game, and with back-up, I think she could've won most anything against Sam. I'm not sure why Sam chose Rachael... maybe she just thought Rachael was an easier target (and Cherry had the 2nd token of life).
3) Who were you supporting going into the Death Match?
Rachael
4) What do you think of the Death Match?
I liked it a lot better than rock, paper, scissors, just because there's more strategy involved beyond knowing the signs. Theoretically someone could know fewer signs than their opponent, but still win if they play their chips right and their opponent doesn't. I'm still always a little wary of challenges like that, though - where there's a little bit of a de facto vote. One-on-one Death Matches are more fun imo, where the rest of the players aren't involved. But that was definitely better than rock/paper/scissors.
5) What are your thoughts on this round's Main Match?
I tried to see if anyone was interested in full-on strategizing, but when they weren't... eh. I actually had a few questions about this Match, and have never seen it on the show, but I didn't have the time that night to watch, and was too busy to ask/no sense in trying without a group to really strategize with, so just played it by ear. I think I have the hang on, as long as bombs aren't placed right next to each other. Ha! It's funny... in your mind, "random" somehow means spaced apart usually. But there's always that risk that random order - truly randomized order - could very well have every bomb placed right in a row.
6) Were you happy with the team you had?
Yes and no. Misty is amazing, and I always love being able to work with her/being on a team with her. I was wary of Lukas, but it did turn out well in that I knew what he and Nyx were going for, and I had the ability to counter it.
7) What was your strategy going into this?
None. See what happens and figure it out. Once I saw there was a good chance of Nyx losing, that was my aim. Lukas can win, as long as she's in last. If she's not in last, Lukas can't win. Simple as that.
8) What do you think about Nyx's outburst?
I know this sounds ridiculous, but I'm honestly sick of having anything to do with her. I'm sure you've seen I haven't even bothered to read her responses to me on our board. It's tricky, because it is interesting playing this came with more variables and a lot of subterfuge. Last season, we had the matches planned so well that it was rare anything went wrong. This season, with Nyx and Lukas, that's impossible to achieve. Which is a lot of fun - or it would be, under different circumstances. But it's not just the subterfuge, it's the power-tripping, the tantrums, the asking for a screencap with a timestamp (lolz!). It's like playing the game with slightly more stable and non-racist versions of Jesse. But the same idea of guarding against a tantrum. Nyx kind of threw a tantrum when we all had that board with Tara. And she keeps throwing tantrums. And then she throws tantrums, and lies... then expects everyone to go along with her next round, completely oblivious. I'm fine with people lying in these games (I do, too)... but if someone catches me in the lie, I'm not going to try to power-trip them into going along with my plan the next round. Who the hell does that? Nyx really is like a light, not so crazy version of Jesse... throwing tantrums when things go wrong, lying about everything then the second someone is like, "lol, no" confused that "YOU DON'T HAVE MY BACK?!" Completely oblivious to all that. I hope she loses.
9) Are you confident in not being one of the 2 in the Death Match?
Nope. She might challenge me. But I'm fine with that. I'm so sick of her, as long as one of us is gone and I don't have to put up with her anymore, I'm fine with that.

Let's take a risk...
Round 3: Team 1 bid; 50 points
Also, a question: can I give away both tokens of life?
