1) How did you feel about the game so far?
I like it, obviously. The dynamic is very different from the first season. But I'll get to that.
2) Any thoughts about the other player?
Obviously Adam and Pete are great. Misty and Cherry are also great, though I don't know how much "help" they are in the longterm, or short term, for that matter. I think both have potential, but I'm not sure either will really embrace that. Talked to Rachael for the first time during this game, and I like her a lot, too. Lukas seems to have mellowed out a little, but it's still early. Nyx is a megalomaniac, but it's funny. Tried to cheap out on garnets (with a hamfisted excuse - she would've had significantly more than anyone else, anyway), lied about her role... She seems to have this idea that she could lead a cult of her own, and no one will - or should - question her. She's definitely very smart, and I'm not underestimating her in this game at all. But she seems to have this idea that, I don't know... everyone else should be in awe of her, and grateful for what she has to offer. And certainly she's smart, but not necessarily any smarter than Adam, Pete... even Lukas. But I don't think she sees that, because everyone else is smart enough to give her the rope, anticipating she'll hang herself eventually. And she comes on very strong, and I don't think is entirely aware of how others see her, and therefore actually comes across as sloppy. Still, she's very interesting - and even once she hangs herself, I wouldn't be surprised if she's smart enough to wriggle free of the noose.
3) Your thoughts on Main Match #1?
Ah, the challenge we played twice, and the first time I would've ended with the most garnets? There's a little bit of an issue with so many people from IMDb - we all know each other, we're all comfortable enough with each other to bide time a little - whether we're allies or not. So when someone else comes in from outside of that dynamic, everyone kind of sits back and watches for a round or two. It happened with Lukas, and now it's happening with Nyx. The reality is that Pete or I easily could've won the match, for that reason... and I don't think Nyx realized that when she tried to go cheap on garnets.
4) Your thoughts on Main Match #2?
Last time we had some approximation of this match, I think only one person - Sam, the lion - was able to "eat" me, and she did... first round. Ha! In a better position this time around, but I think we're still in that phase of giving Nyx the reins and seeing what happens. I'll go along with the plan and do what I promised, even though I kind of hope she finally realizes I'm *choosing* to do that, knowing I could eliminate her *right now* if I wanted. But she won't realize that, of course... and if she does, she'll conveniently forget whenever she wants to. I'm very tempted to eliminate her just to make a point, but... I won't.
5) Any plans to work with the same people again (if you did)?
Obviously.
6) Any role you think is good to have?
Intern seems like the best role. The salary is so low that there's no real incentive to fire them, and they survive by not being fired, regardless of what happens to anyone else - works perfectly. They also get to see 2 people. In general, at least. In this particular match, my role is fine and makes me a necessary piece of the puzzle with the particular group.
7) Any role you think is good not to have?
Probably the President and Prince Kim. For the president to win, A LOT of people with high salaries need to be fired, without being able to fire anyone. To reach that quota, you'd need to cut people with higher salaries, which are inevitably the people who can fire others - so by firing them, you may get the money, but with fewer people in the pool able to fire people. It would take A LOT of luck, or cooperation from everyone, for the president - and thus the prince - to win.
8) Your strategy for this Main Match?
Do my best to suck it up and not call-out Nyx, let her think she's some mastermind, and hope it doesn't blow up in our faces later. The strategy for winning is simple enough, so the real challenge her is the longterm social aspect.
Lastly... I'd personally be fine with Mets and Nat getting full access - to private conversations, confessionals, etc... I trust both to not blab about it to anyone, and I'd be interested to see their more detailed/informed blogs at the end of the game. I'd love that. But I wouldn't trust all potential bloggers so much, which may be an issue if more start blogging. But Nat and Mets - you should totally give them full access. Please!

I'm concerned about Lukas ambiguously saying Tara, and then never unambiguously saying Sam. Does his theoretical scenario, using Tara as an example, count as a vote?
Anyway... I like the last 2 challenges, but I feel like they're ultimately alienating people. In both, everyone else's fate has kind of been at the whims of a few, with their participation not all that necessary. Hopefully there's a game where everyone has to participate soon (board game style, etc...) - might get a couple to feel more invested/included. Because as it is, I feel like a few people are just lost, not really needing to anything.
So, Nyx has tried to con or lie to me 2 matches in a row so far. Which is fine, that's all part of the game. I didn't even bother responding to her admitting it when I obviously caught her (I knew already thanks to Adam, of course). But she has to realize that overt lies (not just lies by omission, which are part of the game) are bound to catch up with her. Lolz, can you tell who I'm gunning for? She is smart, though - and active. Tara and Sam are not particularly active (though more active than some people in the first attempt at this season). Hopefully there's actually a Death Match this round, rather than a forfeit.

This is going so slooooowwwwwwwwww... In hope the next Main Match happens by the 1st of July, at least. Fingers crossed!
(not your fault, obviously... but lol, I wish Tara would just forfeit, because this is gonna go on forever)
