If the trade is what I think it is, Nyx has absolutely no throwaway cards, sadly. She wouldn't need them with the trade.

Either way, when Nyx and Rachael take their turn, we'll see what actually happened. I'm still really curious about the blue 5, though - you're right... wtf happened there?
Mas, are all of the purchased decks the same? If so, how is there a blue 5?

there must be some kind of error. Cause Adam's blue cards had 8,7,5 . The only deck to have all three of those cards is the basic deck we all got. The red doesn't have a 7, the blue and green dont have a 5

Mas has just posted...there was a mistake with the cards Adam chose apparently. I'm not gonna mention in the other room that I spotted this lol

So he has to do over? So, this is what I just thought... Rachael is an amazing social player, builds multiple alliances and goes with whichever works for her, in BB and Survivor games. Remember last game when we came into this treating it like a BB/Survivor game, with all the subterfuge and spying? It's entirely possible Rachael doesn't dislike Nyx at all, but is saying that to us - because she's doing what we did 10 fold last game. We'll see what her deck is and get a better sense of whether Adam and Nyx left her out or it was another 3-way trade-off. Adam is awesome - definitely one of my favorite people on IMDb. But I have noticed throughout the game that he tries to take heat off Nyx and Lukas when I've tried to target them, and has obviously helped Nyx, in particular, in a few challenges - even secretly. I'm thinking coming into this game and playing it like The Genius, rather than like a BB/Survivor game like last time, may have been a mistake. I want to see how implicit Rachael is before doing anything brash, though.

I would concur wholeheartedly with your assessment on the situation. The thing is, Adam would have known that we would notice...so it's not like he had any plans of hiding anything. If you remember in the last challenge, I clearly stated my plan which would mean Lukas and Nyx finishing 1st and last and heading for the death match. The very next thing, he uses his "ability" to drag Nyx forward several spaces that guarantees her safety, while ensuring he finishes in last place until you saved him. I understand that people will be in multiple alliances (in the last genius, I was also with Than) , but all along our "trio" was the main group. It would appear that this is no longer the case.

Pretty much. Which means Misty is suddenly now very valuable, and yet likely to go to the Death Match. So it's either me be an idiot and throw myself in again, or just help Misty through it. I'm leaning toward the latter after last time. But again, it's down to seeing what's in Rachael's deck.
I do wonder what's with Adam doing that stuff, knowing we'd notice. I think that's thrown me off guard and made me think it was just a lapse of some sort... because it was too obvious. Either way, this match will play out however it plays out. Nyx and Rachael's decks should be interesting.

The thing is that, if Nyx wins , it will be interesting to see who she gives the token of life to....and then, of course, Misty will pick someone for the death match. Which leaves me you rachael/adam . If Adam is in another alliance with Rachael (he gets on fine with her, if you remember she was the MOLE in that game he hosted last year) and Nyx, then assuming you and I make it safe to the next challenge and Misty leaves, it's 3 against 2....it would all depend on what challenge Mas has in mind. I hope he does that one where we have to bid for numbers and symbols to make "20" lol, in the show, that was one of my favourite episodes

I haven't watched many seasons (like, I watched 2 seasons... and only half-watched one of them... heh), and then skipped around to relevant episodes when necessary. But isn't the final 4 challenge typically that the winner picks the 2 who go to the Death Match? So, if Misty is eliminated, we need to survive one round by the skin of our teeth, then one of us win the final 4 challenge. Misty staying in the game would be ideal, though - for next round, final 4, and final 3 (Adam and Nyx are great players, and beating either is a toss-up). Rachael is good at some challenges, but not great at most. Adam is good at strategy, but painfully horrible at bluffing (see: his poker match vs. Nat last season). Misty could theoretically beat them, depending on the challenge.
That sounds familiar. Do you remember the episode number?

It's from Season 1 , Episode 9. "expression auction"
I'm pretty sure when it gets to final 4, only the winner gets the token of life. When I was in the last 4 last time, I just had to make sure that Sam didn't win the challenge to make sure I could pick her for the death match (where she got lucky rather than good lol)

Ha! I have to admit, I actually underestimated Sam. I'm *pretty sure* I recently played a game with her, and whoever it was (probably her) impressed me. But yeah, I kind of remember seeing your match with her, and she seemed a little lost, but lucky.
And ah. I'm working on convincing Misty to try to stay in the game. She said she doesn't get all of the challenges and wouldn't mind being eliminated. So, I'm trying to convince her to keep trying (probably in the Death Match).

I think it definitely helps if you watch a few episodes of the show. I have to admit that, if I were playing without ever having seen it on tv, I would be all at sea with some of these challenges work, and also, to a lesser extent, the general dynamics of the game.
I think the fact that Misty is about to start another season of her idol game will probably seal the deal with regards to her leaving, but I hope not.
On that subject, I've been toying with the idea of hosting the 2nd season of Wacky Races.
You think Sam is Gaston??

By the way, it's neck and neck in our game in the fantasy football !

Ha! I keep forgetting about fantasy baseball. Cherry keeps reminding me, and I keep spacing.
Maybe we can convince Misty to challenge one of those and she can throw it, for a garnet grab at least. Heh. It would be cool to keep her in the game, though.
Lolololool! So you WERE in that! I was trying to be vague, but... Seems fair with Kathy taking ages. Boo? I wasn't sure if Boo was you or someone trying to use your typing style. Maybe you're someone else and that's all a coincidence. And... Lol. Was I that obvious in the game?

I recognised you after a while, you have a rather distinctive typing style and vocab lol . I've been told repeatedly that the way I type makes it obvious it's me, and while I try to change it, it's still apparently clear as day that it's me ! Mystery games are not my forte lol I also had internet issues halfway through the game, which meant I was unable to do any of the challenges (that one with the codes I would have breezed through)
I wanted to pick Wall-e, but players would know straight away it was me...but I think I may have been vocal in the past about Boo from Monsters inc lol
