The host actually started this game a couple weeks back, but half the cast was inactive, so hopefully this time is better. The Election Game is even the Main Match it ended on - have you seen it in the show?

Yes.
We need to move quickly and get a majority alliance that will all support ONE candidate.
We need a 7 person alliance for this one round. 6 voters and one candidate. The Candidate gives each voter 3 Garnets for 18 and keeps 2 for themselves for 20. This is traded off for the token of life the candidate will get.
It's not winnable unless you ahve that 7, so let's move fast.

I'll ask some people... do you want me to mention you specifically, though?
There's also the issue of who else runs - ie: how many votes they can get, and how trusted any alliance is. Might not be a bad idea to have multiple run, as a sort of game of chicken (and to initially obfuscate, as the polls will be public, I think), and eventually drop out - just to confuse the situation a little bit, and get some leverage (effectively reversing the game, and having leverage to, well, basically extort anyone who poses a real threat into dropping out). Because if there are multiple candidates and you DON'T win, there's the possibility of automatically going to the Death Match.

I mean, it's best we stick together but we keep our closeness on the down low.

Well, you had clear sailing for a little while. ha!
I'm signing up then dropping out once I can get one or two others to drop out.
Cherry and Brady should be easy votes. I have no clue about Tara and Rachael, or people I who haven't signed on yet - Lukas is from Reddit, and barring him running (which he's not, since he hasn't signed on) should be easy enough to sway (he was really excited about this game and active the first go). Switza and soullimbo (Pete) are running, but if you or I can get them to drop out, should be a good shot - if not, it's just means one less vote needed to win, so best to focus on most likely possibilities first, then go from there.

Hey, I think there can be a 4 man alliance made here.
If you Soul and Switza all drop out, and I give each of you 5 chips, we don't need to worry about voters, because I'll be the only candidate and everyone will need to vote for me.

Exactly. The more people in the race, the easier it is to get others to drop out, and the more likely they are to overpromise. As it stands, needing to split the garnets 7 ways is now just splitting them 4 ways if we drop out.
It just can't look like that's the intent (as mentioned in the other thread). So basically just go through the motions and pretend we're competing until at least after the first or second poll, and then when time is ticking and dropping out becomes a desperate move to avoid the Death Match, it's possible to play that to buy resignations.

Already did. Which should be 3 votes for you, assuming Lukas got back on (haven't checked). But with Pete still in the race (don't know where he went - probably busy and couldn't sign on), you now have a proper vote. Which means you need to get someone else to vote for you. Because there's still 1 person who voted for Switza, and 2 who voted for me, and 2 votes already for Pete - so you need to get a couple of those other votes (but since you didn't end up giving Pete any chips, you have some to spare).

Rachael originally voted for me, and told me she'd vote for you for 2 chips. So that should be one vote. You could probably offer the same to Brady and Tara... then, even if Lukas doesn't cast his final vote, you'd have 4 or 5 votes - which would put you in the lead.
Pete is pretty popular, so I'd make it clear to them that you're not sending him to the Death Match. That, along with offering chips, should be fine. Since Swiza only took 3, you can easily give everyone currently on 2 chips for their vote and still leave you with 6 chips/garnets and a sure win.

Ugh, apparently I don't get the chips because you didn't post it here. I didn't catch that (not sure he even said that... but he may have an I missed it).
