Hey. Nice to meet you. Glad you signed up and played. I played the host's previous season of The Genius, as did a few of the others. But the majority are new to the game.

I'm new to this game, but I'm not new to the Genius. I've been a fan for years.

We need to move quickly and get a majority alliance that will all support ONE candidate.
We need a 7 person alliance for this one round. 6 voters and one candidate. The Candidate gives each voter 3 Garnets for 18 and keeps 2 for themselves for 20. This is traded off for the token of life the candidate will get.
It's not winnable unless you ahve that 7, so let's move fast.

You could also use your chips/garnets to bribe any other candidates that run. So the big alliance isn't a necessity if you can bribe the others (with the promise of no death match).
Although your way is definitely the easiest if that many can agree on it.

yeah.
I mean, if it comes down to it, if there's 2 candidates left, you can tell the other one to drop out and you'll give them the token of life.

I'm just curious how many will decide to run.

I think if we can scare enough people, only a few. The thing is, since anyone can drop out, it makes sense for only 2 to run at max ever.

Ok good. Probably can just open a room for the group and add others as they agree to help.

I just ran to make it more competitive. I'll drop out before the final election and vote for you.

This is really simple. Why need to vote?
You Tom and Switza all want to drop out according to our talks. Since the application process for being a Candidate is over, if you EACH drop out and I give each of you 5 chips, the 4 of us all gain 5 garnets while I run unopposed.
I think this is a really good plan, and I'm more than happy to do it.

I'm fine with it but I don't want to collect too many garnets too quickly. We'll all stand out as early death match targets. Perhaps bribe me out with 1. I'll reply I want 5. You counter 3 and I'll eventually agree to the compromise. This will give you a couple chips to hand out or keep yourself.
I just know last time we played death match candidates were typically those with the most garnets at the time.
We should wait until after the first opinion poll though.
