That was so close. Pete got just a little higher than you.
So, Sam challenged you... which sucks. But Mas is reusing the same Death Match that didn't happen last time. The easiest way to win this is to figure out what sign everyone will be using so you have an advantage over Sam. Since you're way more liked than Sam in his game, that should be easy.
You can either pick a sign for me to use, or I'll pick and tell you. Up to you.

Just tell me which sign you pick I guess. I can't play until Sunday so I hope that works for Sam.

I'll pick Star. I'm going to tell Sam I'm picking something different to try to throw her off.
You should easily be able to get the signs from Adam, Misty, Pete, and Cherry. No sure about the others. But Adam could probably help you a lot since you can start with a good lead. I'm near the middle so you should have enough chips accumulated by then to bet a lot on my sign, which should give the win. You can also split your bet if you're unsure of someone's sign (ie: you can split your chips and bet on all 3... so, if for example you have to bet at least 2 chips because Sam starts with 1, rather than risk losing both chips, you can bet 3 chips - 1 on each sign - and when you get back 3 times the amount, you'll come out even). If you're the first to bet, you can choose to not bet at all. So you don't have to lose any chips, but between Adam/me/etc... you can go big on those you're sure of to build a lead.

That's a very valid point. Like betting some on roulette covering all your bases basically. I got signs from you, Adam, and Misty. I haven't spoken to Cherry at all this game actually so I'd feel weird asking her, but I'll go for it.

So if I go first for example, I can bet anywhere from one to two chips and split them two ways if I want? Then second place has to bet at least double, meaning if she did one or two I would have to bet either two or four depending, but I could split my two or four chips in any of the three signs? I want to make sure I understand it correctly before going in...
And Lukas told me his sign. Should I trust it?

Yes, if you start, you can't bet more than half of what she has. So if she has 4 chips, you can't bet more than 2. However, if you bet 2 chips while she has 4, she must bet all of her chips (but she can split them between all 3 signs and be sure of getting at least 3 chips back, since 1 chip would win 3 times the bet amount). The 2nd player to bet must bet *at least* double the chips of the starting player, but you can bet more. For example, if she bets 1 chip the first round, you have to bet at least 2, but you can raise the bet to 3 or 4.
You can split the chips any way you want. If you have to bet 4 chips, you can put 1 chip on Moon, 1 on Sun, and 2 on Star. If Star wins, you'd get 6 chips back (more than you started with). If Moon or Sun win, you'd get 3 chips back (and only be down 1 chip). So if you're not sure about a sign, but say starts the bet with only 1 chip, it makes more sense to bet 3 chips than to bet 2 chips. ie: if you bet 2 chips and place them on Moon and Sun, but Star wins, you lose 2 chips. But if you bet 3 chips, 1 on each sign, you come out even.
So in some ways, with Adam being the first person, it's probably better to let her start first. That way you can bet all of your chips on Adam's sign, and have 12 chips after just the first round. Whereas if you start, you can only bet 2 chips and will only get back 6 chips. Then 2 rounds to try to conserve your chips (David and Nyx), and then 2 rounds (Misty and me) to bet as much as can on one sign.
This is the one problem: if you start the bet with a person who's sign you don't know, and Sam has fewer than 6 chips, you can't bet on every sign, so you may lose some (you'll have a 2/3 chance coming out 1 chip ahead of where you started the round, though).

I really don't know if you should trust Lukas or not. He may want Sam out just because she's mostly inactive. He may have even given his sign to both of you to take himself out of the equation/seem like he's helping whoever wins. So I'd say cautiously trust him. I wouldn't go for broke on him unless you it's close enough that you need the lead. I'll try to figure it out and let you know before the challenge begins.

Ok and I don't have Nyx or David's sign so that's weird because they're right after each other... I'll just have to play it by ear.

Sounds like Lukas is being sincere, so I'd trust his sign. David you can probably trust... I don't think he'd lie, it's just tough to get him to respond at all sometimes. But if he did, may as well trust him. Nyx is another matter entirely.

I don't trust Nyx. Will have to do without Cherry and David. Lukas says to be first in round one so on the 4, 6, 8 turns I'll be second and can bet more but maybe I would wanna be second in Adam's cuz it's first and I could get a good lead. I see Lukas' point though cuz if I do go first in Adam's round, then I can play second in Lukas, Misty, and Pete's rounds that I have answers for and be able to bigger on. Tricky part is getting past David and Nyx's rounds...

It depends on how the order is determined: ie: does it alternate each round, or will Mas make it so that the winner of the previous round goes first?
MAS! I'm signalling you! QUESTION: How is the order determined for each bet, back and forth or based on who won the previous round?
If it alternates, then Lukas is right. But I don't know if that's the case.
I'll nag Cherry to give you her sign. If I ask in all caps, she'll do it. In the meantime, request a room for you and Cherry so she has somewhere to tell you, because we both know she's too lazy to request a room.

Thank you, Mas. Alright, so Lukas' plan might be better. Also: Jun 5, 2016 21:23:55 GMT -5 cherry said: CAN YOU TELL HER I AM A STAR? MAYBE TELL HER IN SONG FORM, CHERRY CHERRY IS A STARRRRRR. ^ Cherry chose Star.
