Not sure if Pete's been trying to throw it to me or not, thus annoyed I didn't play the Baron with the Handmaid. Wish I would've signed on in time to read his final comment on our board. heh. Oh well.

Ugh @ Nyx constantly refusing to schedule a common time, to draw challenges out for weeks/months, thinking that gives her an advantage (and maybe it does, I guess)... It's inevitable that a week in, she'll find some reason to bitch that she's sooooo busy.
That's my venting.

If Nyx Deletes an item I have, can I just use Duplicate so I keep 1 (effectively just neutralizing both of our advantages)?

You can't duplicate if she chooses to delete the item.

Fair. But (sorry!) can I duplicate it before she deletes it, thus her only deleting 1 of the duplicates? How would that work?
I mean, it makes sense if I can't duplicate an item she's already deleted (since after she deletes it, I'd be duplicating nothing), but if I duplicate it first, since she can only delete 1 item, wouldn't she just delete 1 of the duplicates?
Sorry, not trying to give you a headache. Just making sure I understand how to play this.

yes, you can duplicate an item if nyx has not chosen to delete it before that. nyx's delete item is used when you are using one of your items

Questions:
1. Do I have to be at the square I want to move to to use the Reveal Wall? Like, if I'm at D4, can I only reveal walls between that square and those directly around it, or could I reveal a wall at a square 3 away? Or on the other side of the grid, for that matter?
2. When I want to use a power, when do I say so? When it's time to take my turn, or can I use it after my turn for Restart? And then do we wait and give Nyx a chance to delete the power before it's actually used?
Sorry, lots of questions.

You cannot use it for a square further. 2. You will post at your turn and Nyx will have the opportunity before I post the squares. No proper time limit for it.

Thanks! 1 more annoying question (sorry!)...
Can we move fewer than 3 spaces? For example, with Nyx's course right now, she'd have to move an additional 2 spaces to reach the finish... not 3. So, to reach the finish, she wouldn't be moving/selecting 3 spaces. If she had to move 3 spaces, she couldn't finish... her last move, she'd only be selecting 2 spaces to move (unless she goes backward and forward, which I can do, too, but it would take her more moves to finish, if we *must* move 3 spaces). So, the rules do seem to allow for fewer than 3 spaces.
So, could I theoretically move only 1 or 2 moves, rather than 3, if I felt that gave me an advantage (ie: using reveal wall in place of restart, depending on which I duplicate/she deletes)?

You must move 3 spaces each turn. But if moving less than 3 spaces allow you to reach the final square, then that is allowed. But all other turns must be 3 squares.
